How to Install Themes on the PS3 Using a Hard Drive / USB

Sony's PlayStation 3 (PS3) allows you to change the look of the display by installing downloaded themes. If your PS3 isn't connected to the Internet, then this presents a slight, but easy to work around, complication. By using an external hard drive or USB flash drive, you can download the theme's P3T file onto the drive. You then transfer the drive to the PS3 and install it.

• Power on the external drive and plug its USB cable into your computer. If you only have an internal hard drive, you can purchase an adapter that supplies external power and a USB connector for use on your computer and the PS3. 

• Create a folder named "PS3" in the root of the drive. In that folder, create a subfolder called "Theme." Download or transfer a P3T file into the "Theme" folder (see Resources). 

• Disconnect the hard drive from the computer and attach it to the PS3 using the same USB cable. 

• Enter the "Settings" menu from the initial PS3 screen by highlighting it with your directional buttons and pressing the triangle to select it. Then select "Theme Settings." 

• Choose "Theme" and then "Install." Select the USB device (i.e., your hard drive) and select the theme from the list displayed. If you wish to install multiple themes, repeat this step for each theme. You can only use one at a time, but multiple themes allows you to easily change between them. 

• Go back to the "Settings" menu and choose "Theme Settings." Select the newly installed theme and click "Apply."

Enable Bitlocker in Window 7 and How to Use it

All of us have some private data like some personal pictures,office files or any other stuff which we want to protect from others.You can either use encryption using third-party freeware softwares like Axcrypt ,Disguise Folders or you can use Bitlocker (windows inbuilt encryption software) .Using Bitlocker you can lock your local drives .It comes pre-installed in Ultimate and Enterprise editions of windows 7 ,Vista as well as the Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2.

Trick to Enable Bitlocker in Window 7:-

• Click on the Start button.  In the search field type RUN and Click on it.

• Now in the Run box type gpedit.msc command and press OK.

• Go to this path:-

Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > BitLocker Drive Encryption > Operating System Drives.

• In the Right Side window Pane Double Click on the Require Additional Authentication at Startup. This will open a new window.

• In newly opened window select Enabled and also don’t forget to check mark Allow BitLocker without a compatible TPM option and click OK.

Trick To Use Bitlocker Encryption

• Go to My Computer and the Hard Drive that you want to make Password Protected. Right Click on the drive and then click on the Turn on BitLocker.

• When you click on the Turn on BitLocker option then a new window will pop up and in this window set your password in password field and click on Next button.

• Now it will ask you where you want to save recovery key i.e. to USB, Recovery File, Print Recovery Key. Use any option recommended use Recovery Key to File. Now browse the location in your PC where you want to save this. Keep this file safe because this will help you to unlock your drive when you lost the password and click on next.

• Now click on the Start Encryption button and your Encryption will start. It will take some time to complete.

That’s it. When it will completed, you will see a locker type image on the drive and when you double click on it then it will ask you to enter Password.
